Farapen is a modern business management platform born from an academic initiative and evolved into a real-world digital transformation project.

Developed by Team 39 – Batch 7 MM ITHB, Farapen began as a final project in collaboration with PT Radhika Adhifa Dzaki (PT RAD), a marine tin mining company. The team analyzed operational challenges at PT RAD and proposed a comprehensive ERP + IoT solution tailored for the offshore mining industry.

Impressed by the prototype’s potential, PT RAD provided full support for further development and introduced the team to PT Metro Asia Pasifik, a leading technology company in enterprise solutions. Recognizing the unique market opportunity in the marine mining sector, both PT RAD and PT Metro Asia Pasifik agreed to jointly fund and incubate the Farapen platform.

Today, Farapen operates under the legal entity of PT Metro Asia Pasifik, ensuring trusted, secure, and compliant services for all users — while continuing to grow as a proudly Indonesian innovation bridging academia, industry, and technology.
